Please Help Us Identify Suwannee Doe
Shannon's Story
This young woman was found on 153rd Road close to Hwy 90, west of Live Oak on July 16, 2012. They believe she was lying about 30 ft. off the road way over night and at some point during the night she was on the road and dragged by her feet face down into the weeds and left for dead. It was later determined that she layed out there for approx. 28hrs.
The Sheriff says they do not know who she is, where she came from or if she’s even a local person. No one has come forward yet claiming to know the woman. As of 8/5/12 she is being taken off the meds that had her in a medically induced coma in Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
The woman is described as a white female between 20-35 years of age with blue eyes, brown hair., between 5’4-5’7 in height weighing approx 120lbs and tattoo of a ▬►WOLF on her left shoulder. She also has a tattoo that says “David” on her left chest and a third consisting of six letters. She’s a Jugalette: The fourth tattoo to the immediate right of her photo is a “Jugalette” tattoo which indicates she is a fan of ICP: Insane Clown Posse located on her left ankle and lettering of some kind on her right upper arm. She was discovered wearing cut off blue jean shorts, a Grateful Dead t-shirt and no shoes.

Why has this unidentified woman taken our hearts to find out who she is? She beat the odds when left for dead and we want to know who did it and who she is. She now has a huge family all over the world working and praying for her and a full recovery.

Shannon has brought many of us together without even knowing it and many new friendships have been made. She has also made us more aware of the many, many missing persons and those that still have not been identified. Shannon's story has a happy ending as her children and family still have her in their lives so she will be around for her future grand children and hopefully will one day share her story and recovery with others. We love you Shannon. xoxo

UPDATE: Shannon did go home and was welcomed by friends and family and is doing amazingly well except that she has lost the hearing in one ear due to the beating.
UPDATE: Shawn was convicted in July 2013 and received a 15yr prison sentence after a plea bargain.
